Pines below the hill

This one was painted in the Hotchkiss campus area, looking back towards the hill from the pier. It was supposed to be an overcast day, but the sunlight started hitting me (and the scene) almost instantly when I started painting, so I was definitely a bit heat exhausted after painting this. It was worth it though, as I really enjoy the painting. Another one with a bit more design into it and a bit of a graphic quality.
